I gave this presentation as part of the Cultural Diversity and the Common Good panel at the ‘Imagine the Common Good’ conference in Paris last August. It illustrates how the idea of the commons can manifest as underlying foundational principle in various action logics. The question raised is how local variations of the commons logic can be used at the same time as a means to strengthen disparate efforts individually and to nurture the commons as a whole.
